Tired of working for someone else and helping them make money? Tired of someone else being in control of your future, your job security and income potential? Tired of asking for permission to take a vacation, make a dentist appointment or if you can attend your kid's conference at school?  Tired of being downsized, outsized, right sized or even capsized.? Well, welcome to the club!  It's the employee club and 95% of us are lifetime members. But there is a choice. It's called self-sufficiency, being your own boss.  People of all ages are saying good-bye to Corporate America and living their dream. Why not fire your boss and be the boss you always knew you could be!

Surveys reflect that 75% of us would like to be self-sufficient; be our own boss; run our own show. Yet only 5% ever reach that dream. Why is that? Our school system emphasizes getting good grades so you can get into a good college and get a good job. Have you ever had a teacher encourage you to start a business and follow your dream, your passion? Doubtful!

Teachers are in the business of education. The more degrees they get or credits completed, the higher their pay scale. That's their business model.  If Lee Iacocca or Bill Gates taught the same curriculum but from an entrepreneurial perspective, do you think the outcome would be different? Bill Gates, Michael Dell as well as Steve Jobs from Apple all dropped out of college. Was our school system lacking what they needed?

We currently compete in a world economy, which has created a New Career Economy. In this new career economy, the security of a job has diminished. Having a job or working at the same company  for your entire career will cease to exist. Health insurance is a back breaker for most companies and employees will have to pick up a larger and larger share in the future. Pension plans and profit sharing plans are becoming obsolete. 401K plans are often self-funded. Where's the job security that our parents and teachers taught us?

Remember the famous line from the movie Network:
"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"
Are you angry about your present career situation and want to make a change?????

Millions of people every year are exploring business ownership as a career option. A recent survey sponsored by Career Builder concluded that 84% of current employees are not in their ideal job. Many are worried about job security, unfulfilled, limited advancement potential, hate their boss, their commute or just plain bored. And, let's not forget all the dedicated workers in their 50's that have suddenly  found themselves on the outside with minimal prospects for finding a replacement job at the same income level.

If you're "mad as hell" or just plain bored, it may make sense to fire your boss. But don't be foolish. Have a plan. Explore your options and possibilities. Use a professional coach or consultant to guide you. Why go it alone when there are professionals that have guided and helped others through the process of discovery.

Franchising is an excellent opportunity to be in business for yourself but not by yourself. You don't have to invent the wheel; just utilize your skill sets and years of experience to implement a proven system. It's like a business in a box. The franchise model encourages you to work on your business, not in it. Capped with training and ongoing support, your chances of success are greatly enhanced.

Whether you choose a franchise a start-up or a resale, the business should be the vehicle to the life you're seeking, not be your life.

Start you investigation today. There is no obligation to explore your options and possibilities. Your local coach/consultant is Marty Barnes. The first step is often the most difficult. Let Marty help you understand your options and explore your possibilities as he's helped many others. Call:

Those that have made the jump from employee to entrepreneur, seldom go back. You have one life to live in this world. Do you want to do it your way, or their way?
