Marty Barnes is the owner of the local franchised
office of The Entrepreneur's Source, known as the nation’s premier
source for self-employment options, franchise information, education and
training. Today, The Entrepreneur's Source has over 280 independently
owned offices throughout
North America
run by entrepreneur’s offering their objective and unbiased coaching and
consulting services.
Educated as an Electrical Engineer at UW- Madison, Marty has spent
the majority of his working career as a self-employed business owner. As a
Manufacturer’s Rep and owner of a distribution business, Marty worked with a variety
of businesses in the industrial, retail and commercial markets. Coupling
his knowledge of business ownership and processes, along with extensive
training from The Entrepreneur's Source, Marty has prepared himself to
help other aspiring Entrepreneur’s explore the path to business
ownership.
Using a time-tested process, Marty helps his clients explore their
options and possibilities in search of a business that best meets their
goals, needs and expectations. This
comprehensive process includes interviews and assessments to help client
focus on their professional goals along with education on franchising and
business ownership. Success
coaching and guidance is provided during the validation phase with the
focus always on the client’s needs. Marty has helped individuals from Alaska to New
Jersey get into business, and most for the first time. Wisconsin
owners? Of course! He has helped entrepreneurs in
Milwaukee, Pewaukee, Madison, Appleton, DePere, Oshkosh, Mequon, New
Richmond and Rhinelander capture their dream of business ownership.
Marty is happy to offer his time to various organizations as a guest
speaker on ‘Business Ownership Options’ and ‘Franchising’. He
currently runs a monthly workshop to assist aspiring entrepreneur’s
learn about their business ownership options and has worked with various
agencies such as SCORE, WWBIC, SBA, etc. Marty is also the founding member
of The Wisconsin Franchise Owner's Group. One of his personal goals is to
educate “wannabe” business owners and help them explore the
alternatives of starting a business from scratch.
Marty is the proud father of two grown children and
two grandsons.
Recently engaged, he enjoys spending time with his special lady,
woodworking, flower gardening, motorcycles, country dancing, family and
good friends.
